Get Involved

The International Women’s Group is a great organisation to join if you want to develop practical skills. All members are encouraged to take an active part in our activities. There are a number of ways in which you can actively participate in the International Women’s Group.Your involvement as a volunteer is of benefit to you as you develop your administration, communication and social skills. By volunteering you get to know other members.

What can you do?

Opportunities are available to volunteer in the following areas;

• as a member of the Executive Committee
• as a member of any sub-committee that is formed to organise events
• to visit or telephone another member who may be elderly or isolated and check on their welfare
• Pick up/drop off members to events, meetings or activities
